Vicktoria Patzer
Vicktoria is a Licensed Associate Marriage Family Therapist (LAMFT). She received her  Bachelor of Science of Interdiscplinary Studies with discplines in family studies and sociology from Arizona State University (ASU).  Her Masters Degree is in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy.  Children and families are her focus, she has worked extensively with couples, children and adolescents, and the elderly with issues such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, cutting, behavioral problems, depression, and divorce/blended families. Her experience ranges from working in the schools to CPS while also being an active participant in her own community while raising her three children. Her goal is to encourage and foster hope, support, coping skills, and a positive approach to life.

“Looking for "Change" the time is now! I want to help, by using strategies and techniques appropriate to each individual's particular challenge or circumstance. I will help you achieve the quality of life you are looking for. I believe a positive, supportive, non-judgmental approach are important elements to the growing and or healing process you will experience on this journey toward acheiving your goals. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, children, teens who are in need of help with issues such as: relationship problems, transitional or life cycle issues, behavioral, depression/ anxiety, trauma, loss/grief, drugs/alcohol.

I am use the following modalities: (EFT) Emotionally Focused Therapy, an approach used in couples which aid the distressed relationship by re-establishing the emotional connection. (PCIT) Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, helping to strengthen the parent child relationship. I am also a certified instructor for Adolescent Addiction Anonymous. I also utilize play therapy and sand tray therapy enabling the child to work through trauma and distress.”

Currently, I am working in the Scottsdale office for Desert Vista Counseling Services, LLC, and have weekday/evening appointments available for counseling . Counseling sessions are typically 60 minutes in length, and I work on a sliding fee based on family size and income.
